Reflexology has its roots that reach back thousands of years to ancient civilisations worldwide. The earliest known evidence comes from the tomb of an Egyptian physician, dated around 2500 BC, depicting people receiving treatments remarkably similar to modern Reflexology.
Fast forward to the early 1900s — Dr. William Fitzgerald, inspired by Nobel Prize-winning physiologist Sir Charles Sherrington, discovered that applying gentle pressure to specific areas of the body could bring relief and healing to other parts. His pioneering work, known as “zone therapy,” laid the foundations for what would become modern Reflexology.
Over time, his ideas were nurtured and refined into the holistic practice we know today — a gentle, natural therapy that helps restore harmony, relaxation & wellbeing
